Dr. Morris Netherton, The Association for the Alignment of Past Life Experience (AAPLE)
The Association for the Alignment of Past Life Experience was created by Dr. Morris Netherton, a practitioner of past life therapy and past life regression since the early 1960s. A belief in reincarnation is not necessary for the therapy to be successful. There is no formal hypnotic induction. The process accesses hypnotic states that exist from prior traumatic experiences and remain unresolved in today’s life patterns. An essential part of this therapy entails eliciting memories from before birth, including time in the womb. The impact of the mother’s moods and experiences during pregnancy and the birth trauma influence a person throughout his or her life by creating both negative and positive survival patterns. You may have heard of similar therapies, such as past life regression, hypnotic regression, reincarnation therapy, soul memory retrieval, and holotropic therapy. In most of these techniques the therapist induces nonordinary states of consciousness in order to accelerate the client’s self-discovery.
The International Board for Regression Therapy (IBRT)
The International Board for Regression Therapy (IBRT) Inc. is an independent examining and certifying board for past life therapists, researchers, and training programs. Its mission is to set professional standards for practice, evaluate the preparation and qualifications of practitioners and the quality of training programs, and to issue certificates to those who pass the rigorous evaluation process. It is a not-for-profit corporation registered in New York State. IBRT was founded in response to a need for professional standards for preparation and practice in the field of past life therapy and research. Public interest in these fields is growing rapidly and the public has a right to know that practitioners have met the highest standards. An IBRT certificate ensures that the therapist, researcher, or training program has met those standards and practices in a professional and ethical manner.
The International Deep Memory Association (IDMA)
Deep Memory Process® is a practical and highly effective therapy of the soul developed by Roger Woolger which combines active imagination (Jung), bodywork (Reich) and psychodrama (Moreno) with shamanic/spirit journeying and integration between lifetimes derived from the Buddhist bardo wisdom of The Tibetan Book of the Dead. Introduced as a technique in 2002, Deep Memory Process broke regression therapy out the narrow confines of hypnotherapy and talk therapy giving it embodiment and lived experience through psychodrama and bodywork. Rooted in yoga concepts of the subtle bodies and shamanism, and drawing upon Tibetan teachings about death and transition through various bardo or intermediary states, Deep Memory Process has been recognized as a major contribution to transpersonal psychotherapy.

The Division of Perceptual Studies (DOPS), formerly the Division of Personality Studies, is a unit of the Department of Psychiatry & Neurobehavioral Sciences at the University of Virginia, in Charlottesville, VA. The Division of Perceptual Studies (DOPS) was founded as a research unit of the Department of Psychiatric Medicine at UVA by Dr. Ian Stevenson in 1967.

Reincarnation – where do you find accurate information? This is the supporting website for In Another Life, a full-length documentary on reincarnation featuring top researchers and personal accounts of people who have had reincarnation related experiences, or memories of past lives, carefully selected for authenticity. This website is also an educational project on reincarnation in its own right. There are also written accounts of reincarnation experiences, taken from newsgroup postings (with permission) and private correspondence, in the Personal Accounts section. Taken together, they provide a type of proof in their own right, and they certainly offer a fascinating glimpse into how people are encountering reincarnation.

Cedar Creek Institute
CCI’s mission is to create an interdisciplinary program of high-quality research aimed at elucidating the relationship between the activities of a human mind and the multitude of physiological activities occurring in its associated brain and body . One major research focus will involve systematic collection and analysis of any and all forms of evidence suggestive of post-mortem survival of human consciousness, mind, and personality. These will include in particular cases of the reincarnation type out-of-body and near-death experiences, especially those occurring under extreme physiological conditions such as deep general anesthesia, cardiac arrest, and coma experiences of dying persons and their families, especially death-bed visions, sudden revivals of physical or mental capacity at or near the time of death, physical phenomena at the moment of death, and other related phenomena spontaneous apparitions trance mediumship
The Society for Scientific Exploration (SSE)
The Society for Scientific Exploration (SSE) is a professional organization of scientists and scholars who study unusual and unexplained phenomena. The Exceptional Human Experience Network
The Exceptional Human Experience Network, Inc. (EHEN) is an educational, research, and information resource organization studying all types of anomalous (out of the ordinary) experiences. Because these experiences are primarily subjective, scientists tend to ignore them. They do not fit into today’s scientific theory, and our culture typically does not have a way to understand and deal with them. People who have these types of experiences are often not believed, or are considered odd or strange.

Institute for the Intergration of Science, Intuition and Spirit
Since around the year 2000, multiple independently researched reincarnation cases have emerged, which show that from one incarnation to another, people maintain the same facial features, personality traits and talents. These cases also demonstrate that religion, nationality and ethnic affiliation can change from one incarnation to another.
The University of California at Riverside, with the help of a very generous grant from The John Templeton Foundation and under the direction of John Martin Fischer, welcomes proposals to investigate via empirical means questions that concern personal immortality. Such questions are central existential concerns that know no geographical or cultural bounds. They include questions about the possibility and plausibility of post-mortem survival; questions about the influence of beliefs about immortality on behavior, attitudes, and character; questions as to why and how persons are (at least pre-reflectively) disposed to believe in post-mortem survival; and more besides. The goal of this RFP is to make progress on these questions through empirical research.

Regression is the general term used to denote Past Life Regression (PLR) and Life-Between-Lives Regression (LBL Regression) and other similar processes, all of which are based on the widely accepted reincarnation model of human existence and have enormous therapeutic benefits. These processes are commonly referred to as Past Life Therapy or Past Life Regression Therapy, which come under the domain of Transpersonal Psychology and Spiritual Psychology.
